◎简　　介
　　　　动荡的时代下，武功高强的道士何安下（王宝强 饰）被师父（李雪健 饰）送下山自谋生路。不谙世事的他来到大千世界，因抢了荷叶鸡而拜入医生崔道宁（范伟 饰）的门下。老板娘玉珍（林志玲 饰）如花似玉，同时周旋在丈夫和叔叔道融（吴建豪 饰）之间，由此酿成一场悲剧。此后何安下独自经营药房，却无意中卷入江湖恩怨之中。他被隐姓埋名的扫地道士周西宁（郭富城 饰）高强的武功所折服，自愿拜其为师。与此同时，周的师弟彭乾吾（元华 饰）杀气腾腾找上门来。而曾与周一同练功的查老板（张震 饰）更将风波推向了高潮。上山，下山，何安下在短短的时间内悟出了许多真理……
