◎简　　介
　　　　伊朗库尔德斯坦省的一个小村子里来了一群工程师。村民们对这群突然来到的外来人议论纷纷，好奇他们来此地的目的。虽然感到陌生，但是村民对客人还是表现出友好的欢迎。其中一个工程师，对村里的一切都饶有兴趣。他每天跟随着村里的小孩到处查看，注意到有个生病的老太太，于是不停地打听老太太的病情。因为需要用无线电话和总部联络，而村里的信号不好，所以工程师每次都要跑到山上的墓地去接听。在山上，他发现有个村民总是在独自挖着坑，觉得好奇的他经常上前与这个村民聊天。突然有一天，如风般顺畅的日子发生了变化。山上村民挖的坑塌陷了，活埋了村民，医生前去奋力抢救村民，顺道发现那个老太太也在病危中。面对生命的逝去，工程师惆怅万分。                                    
    本片荣获第56届威尼斯电影节评审团特别大奖。
