◎简　　介
　　　　拥有不堪回首过去的安藤满男（佐藤浩市 饰）一早接到同事宫下（鹤见辰吾 饰）的电话，得知医科大读书时的好友高山龙司（真田广之 饰）意外死亡。安藤为高山的尸体进行解剖，排除了自杀和他杀的原因，发现好友死于心肌梗塞。在警方的安排下，他见到了高山的情人高野舞（中谷美纪 饰），却听到了朋友因一卷录像带而丧命的说辞。安藤自然不会相信虚无缥缈的臆测，谁知几天后高山的前妻浅川玲子（松岛菜菜子 饰）和年幼的儿子也在车祸中死亡，损毁的车中破碎的录像机引起安藤的怀疑。未过多久，浅川的上司吉野（松重丰 饰）登门拜访，讲述了关于贞子和诅咒录像带的一切真相。安藤的命运由此发生改变……                                    
    本片根据铃木光司的同名原作改编。
