◎简　　介
　　　　马克（查宁·塔图姆 Channing Tatum 饰）是一名职业摔跤手，在过去的职业生涯中，他也曾有过辉煌的胜利，然而，如今，一切光芒都已经散去，他不过只一个碌碌无为的无名小卒。马克的哥哥大卫（马克·鲁法洛 Mark Ruffalo 饰）也是一名摔跤手，兄弟两人彼此之间 关系十分要好，可是，马克明白，大卫有自己的家庭和事业，而自己却只有摔跤。                                    
    某日，马克意外受到了一位名为约翰（史蒂夫·卡瑞尔 Steve Carell 饰）的神秘富商的邀请，希望马克能够成为他所组建的摔跤队中的一员，在约翰的摔跤队中，马克找到了自己的价值所在，深受约翰重用的他成为了约翰唯一的朋友，然而，随着时间的推移，当大卫也加入了摔跤队后，一切都开始改变。
