◎简　　介
　　　　故事发生在里根时代的美国俄亥俄州，看似平凡的高中少女梅伦（泰勒·拉塞尔 Taylor Russell 饰），其身体内隐藏着令人望而却步的可怕欲望。再有一次事故之后，他的父亲再也无法忍受，悄然离她而去。通过父亲留下的录音带，梅伦得知母亲生活在明尼苏达的某处，而母亲可能知晓她恐怖欲望的秘密。旅途中，梅伦偶遇举止怪异的老头苏利（马克·里朗斯 Mark Rylance 饰），而对方敏锐地从女孩身上嗅出了同类的信息——他们都是只能生活在黑暗里的食人族。女孩拒绝了老人的邀请，选择逃走，随后不久便遇到了另一个同类李（提莫西·查拉梅 Timothée Chalamet 饰），他们的人生皆由此发生转变……
