◎简　　介
　　　　在银河系的轮番混战过后，居无定所的外星人开始侵占地球。一场橄榄球赛即将开战，大家在观赛过程中通讯中断、大规模停电——外星人大举进攻，恐慌的观众伤亡惨重，大批居民被俘虏。最后存活的人类不得不抛开隔阂团结一致保护自己的家园，于是由父女、情侣、对手甚至流浪汉临时组成的十人小团队，在经历了分歧之后，决定一起营救人质。以马特为首的几个人成功狙击了两个外星人，并缴获了他们的武器，研究了他们头盔的工作原理。一对情侣的宝宝呱呱坠地，母亲却因为没有医疗设备而死，父亲杰克逊难过不已。终于大家等来了大部队援兵，决定集体发起绝地反击，杰克逊牺牲自己捣毁了外星人的大本营，众人合力降服了外星人。马特的女朋友阿曼达提议和外星人和解并达成共识，居民们被释放，亲友终于团聚。尽管地球上仍然有滋事的外星人，然而马特一行人不再畏惧，因为他们的外星朋友会及时和他们共享情报。
