◎简　　介
　　　　在美国某个普普通通的亚裔社区，生活着伊芙琳（杨紫琼 饰）一家四口。伊年过半百，和怯懦无能的丈夫威蒙德（关继威 饰）苦心经营小小的洗衣店。她的老爸（吴汉章 饰）行动不便，需要照顾；女儿乔伊（许玮伦 饰）特立独行，叛逆暴躁。生活看不到希望，只有敷衍和苦挨。某天，伊芙琳硬着头皮去税务局报税的时候，威蒙德突然表现出异常言行。他告诉妻子，自己来自另一个宇宙，需要伊芙琳团结各个宇宙中的她，去打败即将到来的邪恶势力。                                    
    起初伊芙琳并不相信，然而很快她便和其他宇宙中的自己建立了联系。黑暗袭来，这个平凡无奇的女人不得不成为全宇宙的救世主……
